📖 Step-by-Step Guide: How to Use

1. Showcasing Single Tracks

1. Navigate to the Music Player menu in your WordPress dashboard and click Add Track.
2. Enter your Title and Artist/Label name in the designated fields.
3. Upload your audio file directly to your media library or paste an external MP3 URL.
4. Upload your release Artwork (a perfect square image is highly recommended for the best layout display).
5. Add a BUY Link (redirecting fans directly to Bandcamp, Spotify, or your chosen store).
6. Hit Publish, then look at the sidebar to copy the generated shortcode.
7. Paste the shortcode inside any Page, Post, or Custom HTML block across your website.

2. Building Full Playlists

1. Go to the Add Playlist section within the plugin menu.
2. „Click + to add tracks, then drag rows to set the order”.
3. Click Publish to save your compilation.
4. Copy the playlist shortcode and embed it anywhere on your site to instantly feature a smooth, scrollable playlist.

Earlier in 2.4 brings two major upgrades that make this player unique among WordPress music plugins.

Real Waveform Analysis

Previous versions of the player displayed a randomly generated waveform — visually appealing, but not an accurate representation of your music.

Version 2.4. changes that completely.

The player now fetches your MP3 file and analyses the actual audio amplitude using the Web Audio API. The result is an accurate visual representation of your track — you can see the quiet parts, the drops, the hits and the peaks exactly where they are in the music.

Technical details:

• Mirrored effect (top + bottom reflection) for a polished visual appearance
• Automatic fallback for external MP3 links with CORS restrictions — each track always shows a consistent, seeded waveform shape

Drag & Drop Track Reordering

In playlist mode, you can now reorder tracks directly on the front end — no need to go back into WordPress Admin.

Each track has a drag handle (⠿) on the left side. Grab the track and move it wherever you want. The player, Prev/Next button and track counter all update automatically.

What’s New in AICreativa Music Player 2.6

The 2.6 series is the biggest update yet — new playback features, a redesigned admin experience, and full WordPress coding-standards compliance.

Shuffle Mode. A new shuffle button lives next to repeat in the playlist player. When active, the next button and auto-advance pick a random track — and Repeat One always takes priority, so looping a single track still works exactly as expected.

Autoplay, done right. Browsers block audible autoplay before a visitor interacts with the page — so AICreativa Music Player offers two honest modes in Settings: On first interaction starts the music at the first click, scroll or key press anywhere on the page, and Instant, muted starts silently and unmutes on interaction. Perfect for label and artist landing pages.

Admin Playlist Builder. Building playlists is now visual: click + to add tracks from your library, then drag rows to set the exact order. The front-end player follows your saved order — no more guessing.

Text Color option. Pick any text color to match your player background. Titles use the full color, while artist names and timestamps automatically use a softer shade of it — one choice, a complete palette. Light players are now fully readable.

Under the hood. All CSS and JavaScript is now delivered through the official WordPress enqueue system, every output is escaped, and the plugin passes the official Plugin Check tool with zero errors and zero warnings.
